Wow, what a great time we had Saturday at the ladies' teaching, and Sunday and Monday I had the privilege of going to Disney with my mom, dad, and kids. Of course, now I'm playing catch up on work, blog, and sleep, but it was worth it!
Mark 1:18: John baptized with water. If anyone reading this hasn't had a water baptism, it is a wonderful and obedient thing to do. Salvation is not dependent upon baptism as some believe, but it is an event that is very special; I'll remember mine always. It was on Siesta Key in '96 I believe; I'll hafta look it up. Pastor Carl and (I think it was Pastor Jim, but it might have been Ray) baptized several folks that day. Darin and Liza Shedelbower were there, though they weren't married yet, and a bunch of other folks were there too, but I don't remember who they are....see...I'll remember it forever...
The baptism of the Holy Spirit was something I had much confusion over until very recently. I'm probably not the right one to expound on it here, but I urge you, bros and sis's, if you haven't experienced the baptism of the Holy Spirit, pray about it; you'll be glad you did.
