v. 43 talks about Joseph of Arimathea...in reading the study notes different notes, I was reminded about Joseph...a prominent member of the Council (the Sanhedrin), a rich is man we assume. In Isaiah 53:9 it talks about a man such as this...prosphesy! What I find interesting as well is that he was a member of the Sandhedrin. Earlier we read that the full council had decided to bind Christ and bring him before everyone to be crucified. Was Joseph feeling remorse, bullied into the original vote, or did he keep quiet? Hmmm....
